Meet Hannah Murray, RD – Autism-Informed Dietitian in Saskatoon

 

Hannah is a Registered Dietitian registered with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians and the Saskatchewan Registry of Autism Service Providers. She has a special interest in pediatric nutrition, feeding therapy, and helping individuals with ASD and ARFID to expand their food variety, improve nutrition status, and reduce mealtime stress.

  • Individuals diagnosed with ARFID (avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder)

  • Caregivers looking for help with nutrient deficiencies, food texture sensitivities, or elimination diets

  • Children or adults with gut health issues, constipation, or digestive concerns

Hannah supports families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to:

  • Build trusting and positive experiences with food

  • Expand food variety and reduce food rigidity

  • Address nutrient deficiencies (iron, zinc, fiber, protein, etc.)

  • Meal plan for sensory-sensitive children

  • Support digestion, regular bowel movements, and hydration

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), psychologist, social worker, and behavioral therapists

Family Nutrition Support (Children)

This 90 minute initial family session ($300) is designed to support both the child and their caregivers through a collaborative, family-centered approach. 

  • A comprehensive assessment of your child’s eating habits, growth, and nutrition needs

  • Guidance on managing picky eating, sensory sensitivities, or ARFID

  • Practical strategies for mealtimes, food variety, and reducing stress around food

  • Caregiver support and tools to build positive food relationships at home

Follow-up sessions are available to continue progress, adapt strategies, and offer ongoing support.

Individualized Nutrition Support (Adult)

 

This 90 minute initial consultation ($200) focuses on the unique needs of individuals with autism in navigating food and nutrition independently. It includes:

  • Personalized nutrition assessment

  • Support for food rigidity, digestive concerns, or nutrient imbalances

  • Strategies for building a flexible, balanced eating pattern

  • Respectful, neurodiversity-affirming care tailored to your goals and preferences

Ongoing support is available to build confidence with food and promote long-term health.
